Project
£9/mo · included from SoloSite photos organised, tagged and provable
A photo library per job, with latitude, longitude and the time each shot was taken, plus a caption, a trade and a location. Photos go into albums by project stage, and pair up into before-and-after groups. Each one carries its own flag for whether the client sees it. Included from Solo up.
What the Photo Management module does
- Stores each photo against a job with the uploader, filename, MIME type and file size.
- Records latitude, longitude and the time the photo was taken.
- Tags a photo with a caption, a location and a trade.
- Groups photos into albums with a name, a project stage and a date.
- Marks a photo "before" or "after" inside a named group, so a pair stays a pair instead of relying on being next to each other.
- Client visibility is set per photo, so publishing an album doesn’t accidentally show them something internal.
- Links a photo to a defect, a site diary entry or an RFI, so one upload serves several records.
Photo Management: how it works
Why does GPS tagging matter on a site photo?
A photo with coordinates and a capture time on it proves where and when. Without them, you’re just saying so. That’s what settles arguments about whether a defect was there at handover, whether the area was clear before you started, and whether a variation was needed at all.
How do before-and-after comparisons work?
Each photo carries a before-or-after marker and the name of a comparison group. Two photos with the same group name are a pair whenever they were uploaded. The comparison still works when the library has a thousand images in it.
Can I stop the client seeing certain photos?
Yes. The visibility flag sits on the photo, not the album. Publish an album to the Client Portal and they see only the ones you’ve marked visible.

Questions
Photo Management: frequently asked
Which plan includes photo management?
It’s included from Solo up. Geotagging, albums, before-and-after pairs and per-photo visibility all come with it.
Can photos be linked to a defect or a diary entry?
Yes. One photo can be linked to a defect, a diary entry and an RFI. Upload it once.
Can I take photos on site with no signal?
Yes. Estimark is an installable progressive web app with an offline field mode, so a photo taken in a basement is held on the device and uploaded when the signal returns rather than failing at the moment you take it. Native apps for iPhone and Android are on the way, and neither is on a store yet.
